About Us

Vikramshila Museum is situated in village Antichak of District Bhagalpur, just near the ancient ruins of Vikramshila monastery (Lat. 2909’N, Long. 87015’E).It is located about 50 km East of Bhagalpur and about 13 km north-east of Kahalgaon Railway station on Bhagalpur-Sahebganj loop line of Eastern railway. It is approachable through 11 km long motorable road diverting from N.H. 80 at Anadipur about 2 km from Kahalgoan. River Ganges flow hardly 2 km away in the north.
